Since 2010, I have been writing a blog. At first it was about my experience as an expat in the United Arab Emirates but in 2014 I revised the site to focus on education issues. April 7, 2021 – US Enrollment of International Students for Fall 2021 is a Mixed Bag. While there is an increase of 13%, it seems to be concentrated in selective institutions both large and small. The less selective institutions have slightly increased or are flat. The large (10,000 and above), less selective schools show a 10% decrease.

February 1, 2021 – Starting A New Era for International Students – An International Perspective. Dr. Senthil Nathan and I present the survey results of higher education professionals outside the US to the question “Why should a student consider studying outside their home country” This is the second part in a series concerning a new era for International Students.

January 18, 2021 – Starting A New Era for International Students in America. I present the results of a survey with over 50 senior US educators. It also gives my perspective on the future.

June 29, 2020 – International Enrollment in the United States will experience a major decline due to COVID 19. Edu Alliance on June 6-12 surveyed university President’s and senior cabinet-level officers in which we asked the question, Do you expect at your university this fall a decline in enrolled international students? 

January 13, 2020 – Higher Ed 2020 The Year of Solutions. Based on our experience working in many countries, we understand that best practices and solutions in education can come from any university in the world. The series is written by members and advisors of our team as well as higher education professionals worldwide who have found solutions and  developed best practices for their institution.
